³² And they spread among the Israelites a bad report^(A) about the land they had explored. They said, “The land we explored devours^(B) those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great size.^(C)

⁷ No, we declare God’s wisdom, a mystery^(A) that has been hidden^(B) and that God destined for our glory before time began.

³⁵ So was fulfilled^(A) what was spoken through the prophet:
